Has anyone from the forum been to Lanzarote? I'm planning a trip there with my mum. We'll be arriving late and I'm wondering if there will be taxis available to pick us up from the airport at night. I have never travelled before, so I'm worried that something might go wrong.

Hi. I visited this island back in 2019. I also arrived at night, so there's no need to worry, but I booked a taxi in advance with GetTransfer https://gettransfer.com/en/directions/spain/lanzarote. I would advise you to do the same. The driver was even holding a sign with my name on it, which I didn't expect. I felt like an international ambassador, haha! Where are you planning to go? I recommend visiting Timanfaya National Park, which is about 30 km from the airport. It's really beautiful there.Oh, and be sure to visit the wine region on the island, La Geria, too.
